Facebook unbanned – access restored in Pakistan

Today Facebook access was restored in Pakistan by the Pakistan Telecommunication authority.

According to Geo news:

A Pakistani court on Monday ordered authorities to restore access to Facebook, nearly two weeks after the popular social networking website was blocked nationwide in a row over blasphemy.

Justice Ejaz Chaudhry of the Lahore High Court issued the directive, reversing a May 19 order on the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) to block Facebook over “blasphemous” drawings of Prophet Mohammed on the website.

“Restore Facebook. We don’t want to block access to information,” Chaudhry told the court.

A contest organised by a Facebook user calling on people to draw the Prophet Mohammed to promote “freedom of expression” sparked a major backlash in the conservative Muslim country of 170 million.

Islam strictly prohibits the depiction of any prophet as blasphemous and even moderate Muslims were deeply offended by the drawings that appeared on a Facebook page in an answer to the call for an “Everyone Draw Mohammed Day”.

A group of Islamic lawyers petitioned the Lahore court, which had ordered Facebook blocked until May 31 and the PTA then banned YouTube and restricted access to other websites, including Wikipedia.

Chaudhry on Monday asked the government to develop a system to block access to “blasphemous” content on the Internet, which he said was already in place in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

“It is the government’s job to take care of such things, which spark resentment among the people and bring them onto the streets. They should take steps to block any blasphemous content on the Internet,” Chaudhry said.

The court Monday adjourned until June 15 the petitions from the Islamic lawyers.

Mudassir Hussain, an official from the information technology ministry, told the court that all links to “blasphemous” content on the Internet would remain blocked in Pakistan.

Although it would be relief for some people, i still think, was it needed to be restored for the progress of nation? (China still have it blocked btw)

Israel just launched World War III . . . ?

Both the previous world wars were launched by the terrorist nations over very small issues, when they started thinking Israel just Launched World War III . . . ?that they own the world and have the power to dominate everything and everyone in the World. This not only lead to the weapon race including simple weapons, to guns, tanks and then missiles and the nuclear weapons, but also lead to increased tension and distances in the people of world (atleast officially)

Whatever Israel have been doing (in last many decades) was definitely unhuman and all terrorist activities they did are condemnable, but what they did recently was a clear cut attack and attempt of war on Turkey and Nato along with message to many other countries that they dominate the world . . . by first stopping the aid fleet to Gaza then attacking it.? The fleet was just carrying the help goods to the innocent civilian people, like medical stuff, and cement, and other than medicines and food items they also had clothing and usual stuff that any place will need once any uncivilized terrorist nation attacks them and destroys their homes and general population!

What’s next? do you think it will rage the nations? and this will end up in a much bigger war and ultimately end of Israel?

Well some might think, as Israel is so small and Turkey alone can finish them all in a matter of few days, then how can this end up in world war? well the thing is, that Israel is backed up by America and all Zionist controlled countries . . .

Anyway . . . so what’s next? world war 3? or new world order? what do you think? When America attacked Afghanistan, Iraq and other than that many other countries are areas has been affected by American infiltration . . . it was also thought that it might lead to a world war, although it didn’t lead directly to a world war, but internally almost every nation went on fire and was affected by the acts of the cruel politics of the great uncivilized nations of the world.

Israel launched war against Turkey and NATO . . .?

Israel has started attacking the fleet of freedom flotilla. People from many countries including Turkey mainly got injured and killed.

Almost 20 people were killed till now in the massacre started by Israel on the fleet carrying goods to the Gaza.

The terrorist nation is proving the fact that maybe Hitler was right? If there is something other than that which they are trying to justify, i am unable to get it, will like some one to share it with me if they think there is some other reason for the open terrorism on the world by Jews of Jewish occupied Palestine (Israel).

Let’s see how many more people will Israel kill in it’s attempt to support shaitan (devil) and following it’s policies.

See this video related to the event too:

What’s strange is that the world is so scared of America that they don’t dare to fight back with Israel. Because they know once they do it, America will start the war against them too . . . ruining their nation like it did in Afghanistan and Iraq and many other countries.

Is it the beginning of the suicide of Israel (and america) ? or is it the rise of Devil (Israel) ?

Don’t know what are we waiting for!

Israel’s another attempt of terrorism – Stopping aid ships to Gaza with war ships!

Update: Israel attacked the ships and killed over 20 people. Click here for details

Jew Occupied Palestine (Israel), in attempt to prove itself to be the best terrorist organization in the world has been proving many views about it and Jews to be correct in past many decades and they are still working to maintain this impression.

A fleet of ships to help the injured and homeless in Gaza, Palestine was on their way where they were threatened by the Israel’s Navy that they will be intercepted with the war ships.

Today Geo news reported on their website about this issue:

A flotilla of ships carrying aid for the blockaded Gaza Strip on Sunday finally steamed south from Cyprus, heading for a fleet of Israeli naval vessels determined to stop them.

The ships, carrying more than 700 passengers, are on the last leg of a high-profile mission to deliver some 10,000 tonnes of building and other supplies to Gaza, which has been under a crippling Israeli blockade since 2007.

Huwaida Arraf, chairman of the Free Gaza Movement, told a foreign news agency by phone from the boat Challenger 1 that the ships had started towards Gaza on Sunday afternoon.

“Israel is blocking an area about 20 nautical miles out from the Gaza coast and we expect to hit that area in the late morning or early afternoon” on Monday, she said.

In the Gaza Strip, anti-siege activists called on the international community to ensure the protection of the so-called “Freedom Flotilla” which had been aiming to arrive on Saturday but was repeatedly delayed.

“I am asking the international community to protect these boats from the Israeli threat,” independent Palestinian MP Jamal al-Khudari said during a press conference on a boat anchored just outside the Gaza port.

“If Israel blocks them, they have a strategy for getting here,” said Khudari, who heads the Gaza-based Committee to Lift the Siege. He did not give any further details.

With the flotilla expected to approach at some stage over the next 24 hours, Gaza fishermen took to the sea flying Palestinian flags as well as those of Greece, Ireland, Sweden and Turkey — all of which sent boats.

Demonstrators also released scores of balloons with pictures tied to them of children who were killed during Israel’s massive 22-day offensive against Gaza that ended in January 2009.

Israel has slammed as “illegal” the convoy’s attempt to break its blockade on Gaza, and has naval forces at the ready to intercept the ships, tow them to its port of Ashdod, and detain the pro-Palestinian activists.

As tensions mounted, several Israeli warships could be seen off the Gaza coast.

Khudari said the convoy, which is carrying hundreds of civilians and a handful of European MPs, would stop outside Gaza territorial waters before attempting to make landfall.

It will travel “in two stages,” he said: “First they will stop in international waters at 30 nautical miles (from Gaza), and tomorrow (Monday) they will reach the shore.”

Earlier, Audrey Bomse, legal adviser to the Free Gaza Movement, had said the convoy of boats was likely to avoid a confrontation with the Israeli army during hours of darkness.

She also said the activists were considering sending “a second wave” of boats later this week.

Israel has called the convoy a media stunt, insisting there is no humanitarian crisis in Gaza despite reports to the contrary from aid agencies and offering to deliver the supplies through its own land crossings.

“This is a provocation intended to delegitimise Israel,” Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon said late on Saturday.

“If the flotilla had a genuine humanitarian goal, then its organisers should have transferred something for the abducted soldier Gilad Shalit as well,” he said of the Israeli snatched by militants in 2006 and held by the Hamas Islamist movement which runs the enclave.

The activists responded on their website that they had offered to take in a letter for Shalit from his family but received no response from their lawyer.

Hamas’s refusal to release him is cited by Israel as one of the main reasons for imposing the economic blockade on Gaza in 2007 in the wake of the group’s violent takeover of the territory.

The confrontation with the flotilla could cost Israel tens of millions of dollars as it detains the activists, pays for docking the ships and transports the aid to Gaza, the online Israeli business magazine Globes reported.

It said the detention facility alone had cost three million shekels (780,000 dollars, 640,000 euros) and that the costs of holding the activists would mount if they refuse to accept Israel’s offer to buy them tickets home.

Pro-Palestinian activists have landed in Gaza five times, with another three unsuccessful attempts since their first such voyage in August 2008. The latest is their biggest operation.

Anti Smoking Day – Are you serious?

Today is called the Anti-Smoking day. They say this day will be observed all around the world today to highlight smoking related health issues and make the public aware about them.

Smoking is injurious, yeah right! it really is. But are you serious? observing an anti smoking day will help the world a lot? right? Will help clean the environment from pollution caused by smoking and help cure the diseases and patients which it has already caused and which it is going to cause in near future? In Pakistan too government and civil society will hold seminars, conferences and don’t know what! . . . why? ofcourse to get fame and money out of it! right?

What? I am too pessimist? Dude! come on! Lemme tell you some thing.

Do you think this is the right way to make people quit smoking? how stupid it is to think that it will help it anyway!

Government is organizing seminars and all this stuff to inform people about it’s adverse affects, why don’t government put ban on sale of smoking? Oh it causes them to lose their income? ya ya!

Tell me one thing, if in Pakistan, some one opens a shop of selling alcohol and wine etc right in the middle of the market. Will he be able to do that? NO! why not? What if he does? people will bang him off? right? so why are they so careless about those who sells tobacco and cigarette’s? can’t police be ordered to ban them? or local committees who try to put their legs in every local issue, uninvited, why don’t they stop shop keepers? And yes! this is corruption!

Come on! man! be realistic! if you think above steps can’t be done, then stop faking that you are so concerned about health and environment! Stop Faking! Just!

Where to report pages portraying Muhammad (PBUH) Cartoons

Pakistan Telecommunication authority issued a notice to the public of Pakistan regarding helping the blockage of the sketches portraying websites related to messenger of Allah, Muhammad (Peace be upon Him)

A sms is circulating in Pakistan which states:

Plz report any pages portraying cartoons of Muhammad PBUH by

email: complaint@pta.gov.pk

ph: 08005505

plz spread this msg to maximum number of ppl this is our Jihad

In Islam, Jihad means struggling in the way of Allah, so by trying to stop conflicts and rage as a result of attempt from Non-Muslims, is also Jihad. Jihad is not by fighting back in the same way, but by also avoiding the conflict and not letting the enemy achieve its purpose of dis stability.

Hopefully this attempt of the hatred, terrorism and riots started by few un-civilized Non-Muslims can be subsided and any big conflicts be avoided by the Muslim nation, united as one, as always.

A group of lawyers who call them Islamic Lawyers’ Movement petitioned court to order a ban on Facebook all over Pakistan.

Justice Ejaz Chaudhary of Lahore high court ordered the Pakistan telecommunication authorites to temporarily block the access to social networking website Facebook.com due to the competition encouraging users to publish the cartoon caricatures of the Messenger of Allah Muhammad (peace be upon him) on the site. Muslims from all over the world has already been condemning the user-generated contest for blasphemy.

Facebook is discriminating by not following its own Term of Service by not deleting the group page, despite being reported repeated by millions of people. Please note that facebook deletes any such group and contest which is reported by the users. They deleted the Holocost releated groups and others too successfully.

The contest on Facebook group ‘Everybody Draw Mohammad Day!’ has already received lots of criticism all over the muslim world but specially in Pakistan. Online campaigns nd other protests were set up to grab the attention of the authorites and media.
