What makes a country? People with common religion, ideology, race or custom occupying land having a certain boundary and sharing culture, ethnic origin, language e.t.c. Pakistan has been blessed in every respect as far as the history and geography are concerned. But the question is “is it enough to make it respectful and reverent among the other states on the earth?”

And we all know the answer. Since 1947 the moth eaten country was never able to recover. Indeed its wounds have grown so that its suffering continues unceased up till now. Pakistani nation seems to be in the state of perplexity. Is it a start of an end of a state which was the dream of millions of Muslims of Indian Subcontinent 64 years ago? It is facing worst kind of threat of disintegration from in and outside forces. Pakistan’s economy, stability and security are at stake. The so called democratic government actually comprises of the alienated, elite and least concerned leaders. The only thing which matter for them is power over the uneducated, mindless and idle masses of the country. They really don’t bother about the sky-high prices which have made the life of a common person horrible. Well who needs to?

Apart from governance all other institutions are also enduring nonstop deterioration let it be legislature, executive, judiciary or media. In fact Pakistanis pose the biggest threat for their own existence for they are always ready to abuse, fight and kill each other. Money is what they worship and use Islam as a tool to cover their narrow mindedness and extremism. National welfare and other patriotic virtues are extinct. Yet they don’t strive to broaden their minds and gain a general understanding of “what is happening to them and what are they doing to themselves.” This is what makes them more perilous and destructive than the terrorists.

I am not becoming a non-Pakistani because I am ashamed of the current circumstances which exist in my motherland but because I decided not to follow suite and think what I can do to confront the lethal environment prevailing in this country to ensure its safety. So until the other alleged Pakistanis choose to do the same I am not a part of them.
